Pre check in was available, easy to do. The room we booked was quite spacious, exceptionally clean and quite luxurious. The washer-dryer combo unit worked well. Laundry detergent was provided. We used it on a daily basis, clothes came out completely dry. Pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, a knife, scissors and dish soap were provided in the kitchen. I cannot find a single negative thing to say about this place even if I wanted to nit pick. Definitely recommended for a family traveling together.

Excellent hotel. So glad we found it. Close to Gojo Station (1 stop North of Kyoto Station). Seamless check in and check out. They were happy to hold our luggage until 5pm the day of check out. Rooms are very spacious with great amenities. A fun highlight for girls: they offer the Panasonic smart hairdryers in the rooms. I loved using it!

A very nice and cute hotel that perfectly combines modern comfort with traditional Japanese design. The tatami room adds a unique and calming touch. Everything was spotless, making the stay extremely pleasant.

Our stay at Minn Karasuma Gojo began with an exceptionally smooth check-in, followed by a pleasant surprise when we saw how modern and new the room and furnishings were, while still beautifully reflecting traditional Japanese aesthetics. The hotel is within easy walking distance to amenities and transportation. All appliances and furnishings felt brand new, and the bedding was firm yet very comfortable. The in-suite washer–dryer was a particularly welcome convenience and made our stay even more comfortable. For guests unfamiliar with these machines, it’s worth noting that the drying cycle can take over an hour, and the safety door lock, triggered by high temperatures it will not release until the unit cools to a safe level. We initially tried powering the machine off to reset it, but it held our garments until the temperature sensors allowed the lock to disengage. All was well in the end, just a small learning experience. We also appreciated the keyless entry system for both the building and the room, which made coming and going easy and hassle-free.

Room was very spacious and clean. Washer and dryer in room was great, but a bit confusing to translate. Automated check in was easy. Only thing that was disappointed in was the tatami mat room wasn’t actually bamboo mats, it was vinyl covering. Not a big deal, but I was excited to have a tatami room.

The room was very clean and spacious. The location was great, just a few minutes’ walk to the subway station. Check-in was a bit slow, as I had to wait quite a while for an agent to respond. Unfortunately, the hallways were noisy late at night and early in the morning, and we could hear footsteps from the people staying above us.

Room was spacious and small washer/and dryer were there which took 8 hours to finish. Since there were washer, we need to wash the towels to reuse, they do not exchange any towels. Worst yet, the guy at the door was so unfriendly when he helped us, and we regret to stay there. The baggage’s can leave at the hotel before the check in. But no attendance but we need to use the insecure lock which can easily taken off.
