Traditional Japanese Wooden house with new & modern renovations. The coffee prepared by owner make us feel in home. Relaxing music broadcasting. Big kitchen, good for family. Quiet community. 2 mins walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. Close to Randen & JR Station

房屋狀況很好，難得有超大廚房，適合自己下廚。地點很好，離西院站走路3分鐘，附近超市超商都有，非常方便。衛浴有一間比較不方便，

Thank you Hua-Chiang for the stay and it was a great meeting with you all. Although the house is not located in a sightseeing area, it is easy to go places such as 祇園/金閣寺/嵐山 with only either one train or one bus. (Also, my apologies for my late response due to some IT issue a couple of months ago when I initially posted this...) Looking for your next visit to the city!

京都のホテル滞在に飽きたので、最近はずっとコンドミニアムタイプ、一棟貸タイプばかりを選んで宿泊していますが、ここは部屋の構造等は良かったのですが、シーツに髪の毛が落ちている、タオルが臭い、以前の宿泊者の食料が冷蔵庫に残されている、風呂場の排水口に髪の毛が沢山あり、以前の宿泊者の使いかけのボディタオルが残っている等、リネン等のメンテナンスがプロによるものではないため、家族皆がかなり不快な思いをしました。 残念ですが、二度と利用したくないです。

せっかくの休暇に大変なご迷惑と不快な思いをさせてしまい申し訳ありませんでした。また、今回はこのようにご指摘いただいたことにも大変感謝しております。浴室や寝具・アメニティー類の管理体制等をもう一度見直し、このようなことが再発しないように努めてまいります。

This house is amazing for couple of friends or family. We stayed here 5 friends. Shimpei, the host, was extremely helpful and kind. He printed all the information about the house, Kyoto and the area in nicely organized folders! He even reserved a table for us when we couldn't communicate with a restaurant. Everything you need is in the house: laundry machine, coffee machine, automated cab request.. even a cell phone to make free calls in Japan! It's a beautiful house with a cute little backyard and tea room viewing the backyard. The location was also great: Saiin station is about 3mins away, Kyoto station is 20mins away. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

It's always a pain to make a reservation in Japan for tourists from outside and it's always my pleasure to help them out. Although the house itself is not in the middle of a major sightseeing spot, the house is good for relatively large group of family or friends like yours and provide good footwork to major spots like Gion, Golden Pavilion, or Arashiyama. Very much looking forward to your next visit to the country, the city, and the house!
