This was such an awesome stay, we wish we had stayed longer! The staff was so nice and the area around the hotel was perfect for a first visit to Kyoto. There were plenty of shopping, food, coffee, and kimono rental places nearby. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great capsule hotel experience!
The staffs were nice and helpful. You can see that they try their bests to make you feel super welcome and at ease. I really love the friendliness or the staffs! The only issue for me was the cleanliness of the shared washroom. I understand that it is a shared space and I do see the staffs clean it from time to time, but its just somehow dirty whenever I’m about to use it 😩
A great stay, although ruined by another guest who drank a little to much and was very loud at night time. Showers and amenities plentiful. Highly recommended for the price!
I was solo traveling in Japan as a woman and this capsule hotel was amazing: the location was perfect right in Gion; the staff were SO friendly and welcoming and it felt like coming home everytime I walked through the lobby; the bathrooms and capsule area were extremely clean and the beds were super comfortable and I was surprised at how easy it was to stay in a capsule room! Highly recommend if you are wanting a more community oriented experience in Kyoto
I hesitated writing this because it’s such a gem of mine when I’m in Kyoto, but hey I’m not greedy and 5-stars everything and in the heart of it all! Most of all amazing staff and lifelong friend in the manager, Kenji! Arigato!
The manager Kenji is amazing. Very kind man that is the standard for japanese hospitality. His staff, Yuri and Takumi are both kind and helpful as well. Anything I needed, the staff were there for me. Plus, it's in a very convenient location. 10/10. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for the stay. Arigato gozaimasu!
I had an incredible stay at Tsukimi hotel! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to major tourist spots, stores, and easy access to public transit. Lawson and 7/11 are walking distance. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided amazing service, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
The amenities were extremely clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing environment. Whether you’re exploring the city or just looking for a cozy place to rest, this hotel is an excellent choice. I can’t wait to stay here again on my next trip!
Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Really one of the highlights of my trip which seems crazy when talking about a property. The staff were so friendly, the capsules so clean and comfortable, a safe and locker just for extra security, clean bathrooms with a good shower soaps available etc. If there were ever any minor problems (rare) then the staff were super willing to help and very friendly.
Sleeping conditions ideal.
Everything was really perfect to be honest and it was the best stay on my whole trip AND it only cost 4700 yen!!! Wonderful experience.
It is a 49mn walk from Kyoto train station. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Some spoiled brats were on my floor. They were noisy, dirty and no class whatsoever. I called the front desk on them to put some order. Other than that, I loved the location. Food, shopping, temples, shrines etc.... It's THE spot.
Easily the best and affordable option especially if you plan to go solo. Staff was extremely friendly and You’re given a tour. You’re a 3 minute walk from a shrine and around 10-15 minute walk from the shopping strip if you want to look at high end designers or anything in between such as gifts or food. The floor I was on was quiet for the 2 nights I stayed. Bathrooms are public bathroom style so don’t expect much privacy if people walk in to brush their teeth or skin routine. They do have a tiny bar and a small hang out lounge. Check out the roof especially at night to see how beautiful Kyoto is.
It a great hotel to experience capsule but if you want privacy, that’s not convenient because everything is shared, washrooms, dining area, etc. hostel living actually
