"We stayed at 4 different hotels in Japan and this one was our favourite. We were grateful to check in earlier (1pm) rather than 3pm. The hotel has a reception that is manned early in the morning to late in the evening. It is about 10 mins walk to Kyoto Station and the area outside the hotel is quiet. "Wow — amazing stay! This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Japan. The breakfast buffet was incredible — so many delicious options to choose from! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome. We also loved the complimentary drinks available all day, which was a nice touch. "Rooms were clean and had air conditioning. Staff were friendly and were able to speak English allowing for easy check-in/out. Amenities did include a private bath that could be reserved. It was a short walk from Kyoto station which was great for commuting."

"Hotel was clean and staff was very nice. The public onsen for guests upstairs was very convenient, along with umbrellas for guests to use if it was wet outside. We were able to send our luggage to our next hotel in the lobby. Laundry in the hotel was free, but there are only 4 small washing machines. The hotel instructions tell you to dry your load in half. It was very busy at night and people were fighting for machines. The dryers are slow at drying so take that into account. Overall great...
