"One of the better hotels! Friendly staff members! Great location! Literally next to the train station. Inexpensive for how much it was. The rooms were big, the beds were so comfy and it was easy to navigate through everywhere. Breakfast and lunch were delious. The water pressure was excellent and it hangers available for our jackets. Probably my go to hotel when i come back to kyoto! "

"Thought it was a easy assembly area, but it tran only run every 15-30 minutes to Kyoto station. Kyoto bus is always packed with people, get around take long time. But there is a family mart right at the hotel, very convenient for quick snack. Also Starbucks less than a minute walk. Recommend for leisure traveler."

"No one to help with luggage; front desk would not make dinner reservation--told to walk downstairs and do it myself; very small room; sink and vanity in bedroom area instead of the bathroom; no English television station; no view from bedroom to outside; charge for everything, for example the cappuccino at breakfast and ice at bakery; gym is very small, cold, bad smell, no water and no towels; service staff often unfriendly and unprofessional. Not recommended!"

"This was our favorite hotel on our 10 day trip to Japan. The onsen was amazing, the massage chairs hit the spot when available, and we enjoyed the free coffee / ice cream / ramen daily. We did not add breakfast. The check in area can get hectic, but they had plenty of staff and things moved along nicely. Highly recommend!"
