"Beside the leaking ceiling, the room was nice. I was upgraded and also the staffs were extremely kind and thoughtful. Gave me a welcome gift while during the stay and it was nice to see child hood snacks at the front. Decoration and the atmosphere were very nice.
Over all lived my stay and would come back 20/10."

"I stayed in the Shin room and this place is amazing. The room was very clean and beautifully presented. Great location from the station but still nice and quiet. Staff were very helpful and supportive. Especially with temple recommendations. Breakfast was a great experience. So was having a traditional
Japanese bath which after a long day of exploring was definitely needed. Great food and tea. A real Ryokan experience staying here - highly recommend for those coming to Kyoto."

"Had a really good experience staying here. We are very picky with cleanliness but can say this place was spotless. Our room was also very spacious, and featured a japanese style shower which was super cool (and absolutely spotless as well!). The staff was also very kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here - we had a very comfortable stay as a family with a young child.
