"Great location, super modern and clean, staff was very friendly and even had a birthday card for my daughter and let us use a Polaroid camera to make memories. They saw us dressed up in kimonos and came outside to take pictures of us. Even told us where to pose so you could see the beautiful temple in the background. Overall, this was a beautiful place and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend"

"Our stay at Kyoto Machiya Zeniyacho was absolutely incredible! The service was fantastic, and the amenities were amazing. Our host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment during our stay. He even organized a delightful tea ceremony for us. Additionally, he was incredibly helpful in guiding us through Kyoto, recommending restaurants and places of interest that we couldn’t miss. Considering our first time in Kyoto, we wouldn’t have chosen any other place."

"Staff were the most friendly to us!! As we were heading out to explore, they went out of their way to inform us of the festival in the area and recommend some places to eat!! The baths were lovely, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the atmosphere was really authentic and comforting. Will definitely hope to be back in the future!!"
