"The best feature about this hotel was the walkable convenience to the train station and many eateries in the area. The free ramen was great as a late night snack but definitely not enough for a dinner meal. We enjoyed the free ice cream at night and complimentary hot beverages. The only drawback was the consistent use of the massage chairs and busy onsen. I would definitely stay again in the future but would probably opt for a quieter space/room. "

"The only bad thing I could say is that the pillows were kind of small and the WiFi was not cooperating at the time. Everything else was really good, amazing room and a really good location "

"A fabulous hotel newly refurbished. Very comfortable beds and rooms, superb service and very good quality food. Extremely convenient to Kyoto station (about 3-5 mins walk) dependent on your exit. Great gym and spa. Recommend allowing a little extra time for your breakfast as hotel is always full and consequently busy. "

"The staff was incredible and very nice. The room was really beautiful and they even given you pajamas which were top notch. They have a public path within the hotel too. The aesthetic is great and they have a beautiful temple across the street to visit and in the mornings usually a small market in front of the temple too. "

"Honestly top notch place. The room was beautifully traditional, comfortable and I love the small things they had. Like they had fresh tea for us to make in the room, snacks to have with the tea etc… the staff was exceptional and very warm/friendly. I would recommend this 100 out of 100 times if you want a traditional stay "

"This was our first stay at a Dusit Thani hotel and it was BY FAR the best hotel experience we have had anywhere in the world. The staff were so attentive and friendly and we waited for nothing. It was as if they knew what we wanted before we even asked. The room was amazing and the food (especially at Den Kyoto) and the service was outstanding. The spa service was also first-rate. Do yourself a favour. STAY HERE!"

"Staff were very friendly and check-in was quick. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Working space was adequate and wired internet was provided in addition to wi-fi, so connection was fast and stable. Whenever I needed a drink, I could simply go downstairs to the lounge for coffee or cold drinks. Best of all, this hotel is only a few minutes away from bus, taxi, subway and JR. I would not consider staying anywhere else on my next trip to Kyoto."

"The room was clean and spacious, loved the atmosphere, the staff were helpful, great amenities, and enjoyed the hotel onsen! The Breakfast available to guests was so good and also located in a safe and convenient location. The closest bus stop was just down the street and Kyoto Station was less than a 10 minute walk! There were several restaurants close by (the ramen place nearby was AMAZING and so cheap), and a few attractions nearby as well (the Temple locate around the corner was beautiful)....
