"Tiny, no-frills room. Great for a short stay in Chicago. Had a few minor issues with the room. The router light located in the bed room is fairly bright which may be an issue for those who struggle to sleep in a room that isn't completely dark. The AC unit in the room I was given was also not working (which for me didn't end up being an issue as it was fresh outside, so opening a window did the trick. "We love the Palmer House! This is our “go to” hotel when we travel to Chicago. It is close to theaters, concert halls, Michigan Ave with museums, restaurants, parks, etc. The hotel lobby is incredible! A great place to relax, have a beverage, people watch, and enjoy. The room we recently stayed in was beautiful! We were surprised with a suite and so much room to enjoy."

"Upon arrival I was super excited for my stay. I was trying out a new hotel for my birthday getaway. Once checked in I had to switch rooms because it was dirty, (bed was not made, mattress was stained, curtains were stained) damp and hot in the room. It felt as though the someone had just got out the shower. I called and requested a new room, thinking I would get a similar room to the one I requested. "Older building. Hallway smelled like trash. The bed linens appeared wrinkle making me think that perhaps the sheets weren’t changed. Because it’s a budget hotel, young people stayed here and were extremely loud. "

"Breakfast was not included but there is a restaurant colliding (Elephant and Castle). The West Adam’s Club Quarters is an old and outdated property but room was ok, cleaned daily and the staff super friendly. Location was unique, it is near a lot of opportunities to see points of interest in this beautiful city. Near train stations and places to have lunch/diner "

"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Insanely affordable and beautiful, spacious rooms. Great, firm beds with soft sheets that don't hold in heat. TV's were great and, while channels were limited, had good options as well as access to streaming. Well prepared and delicious continental breakfast."
