"This is a beautiful former monastery high up above Monterosso. You need to contact the hotel in advance to make a shuttle reservation and they will pick you up near the train station. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. Most of the other guests were hikers from the trail between towns. We sat outside at sunset with a glass of wine, admiring the beautiful view. "Despite the fact that we never read the special check in instructions (lesson learned!) the staff replied immediately to our messages allowing us to get our room. The place is very safe and well located close to bars, restaurants, stores, etc. Highly recommended!!!"
