"This hotel is very tired, there was no staff after 8pm and not enough parking for the number of rooms. The ac is cheap window ac and not very effective. Sheets are thin and towels small and rough and the rooms are low quality, think walls, linoleum, cheap appliances and box showers. On the plus side - good water pressure! I would not stay here again."

"We booked this very last minute, and were so happy and surprised at the resort amenities, boogie boarding and surfing beach, wonderful lawn facing the beach (less sand!) and gorgeous pool. "Kauai Shores Hotel was perfect! We loved the location and the staff was so friendly! We went for our honeymoon and they even gifted us Hawaiian chocolates! We loved that they offered complimentary yoga daily. It was such a great place to stay. There was also live music daily which was really nice. The only negative was the restaurant on the property wasn’t good at all, but there are a lot of great options nearby. We would definitely go back and stay there again!"

"Booked this resort for our honeymoon and was blown away from the quality of the rooms, resort, and amenities! Loved having the ability to use the pool and beautiful beach with amazing restaurant options so close nearby. The free airport shuttle service was very nice to have and we were give hospitality access with full showers until our late departure flight. We would 100% come back again!!"

"First room smelled horrible…front desk clerk sprayed the room…still horrible! I continued to complain, finally next day we were moved to another room. The property is well maintained and the remainder of our stay was nice but I felt we should have been offered a different room immediately after we complained about the smell in the first room, not the next day after complaining again."
