"Large, clean, well maintained room with effective air conditioning. Ear plugs provided in case of noise from the bar below but the noise wasn’t too bad at all. Breakfast was at additional cost but was very nice. Would definitely recommend staying at the Skeff."

"This apartment is exceptionally beautiful! Great for a longer stay with full kitchen, laundry and space! The parking was accessible, however, difficult to find street parking prior to enable a smooth check-in. However, After check out, The Western Hotel allowed us parking in their site so we could continue to roam around prior to leaving the city - greatly appreciated. No A/C so we left the windows open (July travels) in which all of the seagulls of Galway sang and yelled all night long …...

"the room was so small you couldn't use the toilet and keep the door closed. Def. do not do a snug room with two people. Also there is no safe for locking passports or anything and the cleaning staff came only 1 time in the 4 days we stayed. The wifi didn't work and there is no front desk so you have to text on whatsapp, but staff never responded despite many attempts. def do not stay here unless youre looking for a hostel vibe"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Woodquay Townhouse in Galway. It was very clean, updated and cozy. The staffless checkin went very smoothly. We were given clear concise directions prior to arrival on how to get into the property and then once inside we were able to follow the touchscreen directions on how to get our key. It was an extremely easy process. The hotel was located in a great spot and a public parking lot ($10 per day) was very close. My only concern with this hotel is that once...

"Were given a key card to an occupied room. Staff was very helpful in finding us room, but it took some time. The room was not clean by any means. Weird substance on the couch - so we did not use it. This is a student residence converted to a hotel, and feels that way."
