"Great location in the middle of the French Quarter and easy access to lots of fun activities. Noisy outside late into the night. The rooms with balconies and windows on the front side of the hotel do not block the noisy people partying in the streets. Hotel had great vibes, it’s old and has a lot of great character."

"The room was just as I expected it. It was nice, quiet, clean and spacious. Just steps away from bourbon street without the noise. The front door kitties are nice. The staff are super helpful and nice as well. The only drawback was my hubby is 6'5" and he had to duck some in the bathroom and shower. That is the nature of older buildings though."

"Staff were super welcoming and helpful. My room was clean, but slightly dark as there wasn’t an overhead light (loads of lamps provided in the room though). Breakfast was amazing and the discounts to external excursions was super helpful!"

"The staff were wonderful! Our room was beautiful. However, the walls are as thin as paper. We heard the occupants one one side talk all night, and on the other side, one guest throwing up. The shower door leaked, and we used the towels to mop it up. If we were staying more than one night, I would have requested to move to a different room."

"No desk anywhere in king size deluxe room. Nor was there a microwave of any kind and the refrigerator was only about 2 feet tall"

"Cozy and quaint inn that gave you a historical vibe. Secluded courtyard pool to enjoy a respite from walking the city. The inn is very accessible to many areas of interest and an easy walk for some tasty food. I highly recommend this stay. "

"Unique historic experience"

"It is a classic old school hotel with an incredibly helpful staff. The Carousel Lounge is so much fun. Hard to get a seat on Friday or Saturday, but worth the wait if you can finally get in. My wife wanted a nice souvenir of our trip and called to ask if she could buy the logoed trash can in our room. They didn't even treat that as the crazy request it was and sold it to her. Can't say enough good things about our 3 night stay."

"The experience at this hotel was great. Would definitely recommend to others. The Continental breakfast options could use a little more variety. However, everything else was great. The staff was friendly and the views from the room were amazing. "

"We absolutely loved our three night stay at the Bienville House. We loved the location - walkable to virtually everything. Our room was awesome. Our 3rd floor balcony room overlooking the courtyard was spacious and all the little extras were a really nice touch. The hotel staff could not have been nicer. Thoroughly enjoyed our NOLA trip and the Bienville House was a large part of our vacation."
