The homeless population seems to have risen since our last stay. We were approached by a very aggressive man and so I NEVER allowed my wife to walk the streets alone...and that is a big change from the past.

For travellers without a car, sidewalks are definitely a must. There were areas that were not accessible to pedestrians as there were stretches on the road that had no sidewalks.
