"Absolutely loved staying here. Stayed in room with a queen and bunk beds. Teen aged children slept comfortably in bunk bed. The room, hotel and beach were extremely clean. Direct beach access was a plus for my child with mobility issues; hotel provided towels, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Staff was nice and helpful. It was a relaxing stay, would definitely stay here again."

"Could not believe how much charm every corner of this venue had. My wife and I spent 2 nights here and were sad we didnt book at least 5 more! great location and Shaws cove just 3 minute walk away is arguably one of the most scenic spots on the whole CA coastline. cant recommend more"

"The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The couple of concerns I encountered were that the shower was not working properly and was put together very unprofessionally. Also, the recommended route to the beach is not really appropriate for seniors as it is rocky and could be hazardous causing falls."

"Absolutely loved it here! Property is beautiful, staff was incredibly helpful and nice. Our room was perfect, with the waves crashing right below us. I had Ali, the concierge manager set up our room while at dinner for my proposal to my girlfriend. It was perfect with rose pedals and candles. Definitely will be back!!"

"We enjoyed our stay. Everything was super close walking distance. Cresent beach was a quick walk, trolly picked us up outside the hotel and dropped us off anywhere near laguna. However, I di believe the property could be a little more detailed as far as cleanliness. Pool was not heated even though they said it was. So we didnt get in. The bed was nice and clean bathroom bathtub not so much. Those are all things we can over look for everything else. Price was good, convenience even better"

"Took 30+ minutes to check-in, there was only one woman on staff on a Friday night. I called down to the front desk after finding 3 cockroaches in my $700+/night room. I wasn’t offered a refund or discount but was moved to an entirely different building to a lesser quality room. The hotel is slightly dilapidated."

"This property is a hidden gem! We needed a short getaway from our regular routine and The Ranch was the perfect place for that. We stayed in a beautiful renovated room with a balcony overlooking the river - we saw ducks, birds, and even a large fish swimming upstream.
