"This is a charming renovated hotel with direct access to the beach, plus having a pool and jacuzzi. We had a king room with an ocean view but without a balcony—they have some with quite larges. There’s no TV in the room and we didn’t want one but I thought, that’s odd. The restaurant is at the start of what I think is the best part of LB."

"The property is gorgeous. Right on the water, sand and sea right there. Only thing bad was noise from the traffic. Very clean and nice staff."

We got an upgrade without even asking, and felt comfortable from the time we arrived. Great location and a terrific place to unwind and reset, even if for a night. "Beautiful, clean resort with gorgeous views of the ocean. Front desk staff was a little stuffy. otherwise, room service, pool, restaurant and staff were helpful and pleasant. If you want a more spacious hotel, stay at the Laguna Ritz Carlton. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay here for our anniversary."

"This is a great choice for a stay in a less busy part of Laguna, thats not too far from good restaurants and super close to the beach (right across the street). It's on the trolley route so its easy if you aren't up for the walkable distance to the Main Beach area, or have interest in North Laguna, Sawdust Festival, Pageant of the Masters, etc. Friendly and super attentive staff (thanks Erik) and the rooms are comfortable and clean. "This hotel had an outstanding location for us and we truly enjoyed the Rooftop Bar and Restaurant. Our room was too small to enjoy. We barely had enough space for two suitcases. The phone did not work and trying to get local news on the TV was a chore. The people we dealt with were great. Felix, at the desk, was very pleasant and did his best to make our stay enjoyable. The young people at the bar were helpful and fun. We consider this place an experience, but as we are getting older, we need...

"Very nice small hotel outside of the tourist area. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Walk down to Crescent Bay beach, watch sunset at Crescent Bay park or walk down to Heisler park and Main beach. It’s at the end of the long north shore trolley if you don’t want to walk or drive."

"The staff was wonderful in every way. However, the facility is pretty worn down. I stayed on the side that did not have the beach view because we were just going to be there a short time one night. Perhaps a beach view side is kept up better. When we went to the restaurant, we enjoyed an amazing view and very delicious food."

"Stayed here many times due to proximity to family. First room very noisy from road. Helpful staff changed our room from 228 to 229. 2nd room smelled, window blocked by 2 trees and a weird building piece. Room was loud with something that sounded like an airplane taking off every night and early morning. My daughter and I received many bites from our bed. Breakfast was crowded and not great this time. Pool was filled with sand. Overall, our worst stay yet here. We are thinking we will switch...
