"Stay there recently. Clean, renovated, everything you need is there. Laundry and Ice machine…friendly and helpful staff. Right across from plaza with different shops. 10 minutes drive from Monterey downtown, highly recommend for folks who need nice and simple stay in clean and comfortable hotel"

"the place was very nice. convenient for the area. near a lot of fun and local spots within driving distance. we even stayed an extra night and the staff was helpful. my only concern was the pillows are way too small, the bed is creaky. even if you move to just get up a loud creaking/screeching sound happens. the ac works, but it was also pretty loud. if you’re a light sleeper it may be an issue, but other than that it was pleasant. plus the parking was easy and available."

"The room was clean but the level 2 rooms didnt have elevator which was difficult to carry big suitcases up the staircases."

"It was ok, nothing fabulous! The Airport was our neighbor. To close heard all the flights. Difficult to sleep! The grounds need work. The cleanliness ok could be better. Would not stay here in the future."

"Property is well maintained and has big rooms. they don’t have air conditioners but has fan though it wasn’t required to use as weather was really good. Breakfast has limited option and limited space. But overall stay was good."

"Unfortunate situation with noise/blaring music and our room. The room and the location was very nice, otherwise. But the hotel was fully booked and they were not able to relocate us because of a party going on right next to our room. If there is an event like that, they should not rent the room next door except to someone at the event. Music was so loud our room was vibrating with each beat."

"My daughter goes to CSUMB and this is the 2nd time staying here.. we’ve been in Monterey a lot and this is the only hotel (out of a lot) that I LOVE. This will be our hotel when i visit my daughter, and move her in every year."

"We have stayed here a few times before and it’s always a great stay with good beds and quiet area. Shower pressure was great as well."

"The room smelled like paint and spackle. The tub was clogged and didn't drain after showering. The windows came off of the sliders and didn't secure properly, allowing anyone access to the room if they felt like breaking in. The pet fee was twice as much as other hotels. The wifi was unreliable and generally terrible, which is a problem because the cellular service in the area is poor at best."

"I didn’t like that the restaurants weren’t open when we got there after lunch. They only serve breakfast till 11 AM then close until 5 PM.-11pm. What I did like and enjoyed was they provided s’mores kits. Fun times for kids and adults to do."

"No gym on the property but pool looked nice. Check in was super easy, virtual staff was helpful for buying water in the lobby, room was very clean! Location was about a 15 minute walk to downtown and there’s a trolley not too far. Would book again!"

"Great overnight spot! The fridge and microwave were very helpful to have. A coffee maker in the room would have been really nice. There was nowhere near early in the morning to get coffee. The room was updated and cute. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Recommended!"
