We enjoyed our stay! It was in a quiet, quaint little town in Strasburg. The place was clean and the renovation and decor was very much appreciated and with good taste. In addition, The Speckled Hen cafe was phenomenal and very conveniently put -right across, in walking distance. We appreciate the voucher we got for breakfast and loved that it was kid friendly with a play area and the food itself was actually way better than any hotel buffet food. Check in and check out was super efficient. I really liked that they just gave you your room and code and I was able to text them to update and let them know we checked out. If we ever come back to Lancaster, the Carriage House will be my first choice to come back to and suggest to family and friends!

The staff were informative & friendly, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The parking was right in front of your room, which made it very easy to unload and load your bags. No complaints at all for the stay. Only the breakfast part was the not too impressive-you either get $8 pp credit or select from a limited simple choices. The portions were very small. My daughter chose 2eggs w/ the hash brown which was very, very salty so couldn’t even finish half. I had the croissant egg sandwich, which the croissant tasted like the plain Costco croissant. I think you’ll be better off using the credit to buy other breakfast choices. Good part of the restaurant was the fresh coffee & don’t have to pay any tips.
