"Great location for park and ride into Bath. We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better. Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen. "The hotel is an old building so we understand the facilities have been improved to update with the modern life. There is a lift but there are about 10 -11 steps up and down before I could move my luggage into the room. There are 4 steps of staircase before I could use the bathroom. I had an accident on my first night stay 21 May 2026 2:40 a.m., I sprained my right ankle. I could not manage to go to the hospital with only one leg. I was so grateful the staff on duty on 21 May, came and helped...

Breakfast was delicious and generous, and the location of this stay was ideal - close to nearly everything. A few notes: Be aware that there is no AC, so plan accordingly - though fans, lighter bedding and bottled water were provided. My only recommendation would be to add a small mini fridge to keep the water...

"Debbie was lovely and very helpful. The room was super comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The only tiny point was that is was very hot in the house and room (very warm out too) but the fan that was provided was extremely noisy and not really useful. "In the heart of Bath with a rustic and charismatic feel. Fantastic gin bar opposite the front door and restaurants, bars, cinema and Sainsburys close by (100-500 meters). Steep and narrow staircase to the loft apartment. Two large bedrooms, spacious liver, kitchen diner and a bathroom. The internet is slow but did not spoil a wonderful stay. "
