Umm it was a bed to sleep in. The property is run down for sure, especially the rooms further away from the lobby. The smell in the hallways is something. Breakfast area was clean.

The night clerk at check in was kind but could have been more helpful the first time in telling me the closest outside door to park to get to the room. The layout of the hotel is a little confusing, so at least he gave me a map on my second visit to the desk. The rooms are dated but clean. Breakfast was better than most hotel buffets. It was $30 cheaper than the newer hotels, so you get the value.

The bathrooms downstairs in lobby were so nasty. One of the beds in my room looked like it was half done and there was hair in the shower. The breakfast was fine. While I have no problems with children, the pool even at 9pm was so full of kids that my husband and I felt weird going to swim when there were no other adults swimming.

Property is old, carpet torn, no water fillers or hot water for tea at all during our stay. Only place to fill up with cold water was at the breastfast bar and then they turn it off so you can’t use it later in the day. I asked the staff for hot water and they couldn’t help. The property smelled like weed in all the hallways and made us gag, but at least it did not travel into our room.
