"We checked in late and kids wanted to swim in the pool at around 7pm. All we could smell was weed from a table with young adults sitting in the corner smoking weed and drinking beer. Small outdoor area for pool. Not very good for children at all. Dead flies in the pool also. Also, after check in, I was asked via text if front desk could do anything for me, I asked for an extra towel as we didn’t have enough for the four of us. Towel never came. I let them know the next day, and all they said...

"I was very pleased to find the Woodcrest. Over the years I have stayed at most of the chain hotels in the Bay Area, and found them all over priced a disappointing. The Woodcrest offers large rooms in a location right next to the "Main Street Cupertino" area so has a great a variety of restaurants in short walking distance, including the excellent Country Inn for breakfast. All at much better prices than the big brands."

"Overall my stay was great. The gym was really small and as an avid gym goer, I wasn't happy about that, but I made it work. The continental breakfast was pretty good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was good as far as places to eat/shop. My room was clean and bed was fairly comfortable. I'd stay here again."

"The hotel is located on a busy street and I could hear the traffic all night. The bathroom door had a piece of black duct tape as a patch. I tried tiring on the air conditioning in the middle of the night and it was broken! Two of the three shampoo/conditioner/body wash bottles had come off of the shower wall and were left on the shower floor. "
