"They have a small parking lot which is a lot better than no parking lot in NY, so parking was great. The staff was friendly. The breakfast that's included is great. It feels like not a lot of hotels include breakfast anymore so this was a huge plus. The common areas were nice and clean. The room was clean. The only thing I'd put in the suggestion box is; in the bathroom of our room where the toilet paper holder is screwed on it's a little bit too far. I had to give a good stretch while sitting...

"The only good thing that I can say about this place was it was in a convenient area. Bathroom floor was dirty. The hot water runs out at night..The toilet seat was too small for the toilet. And it was super loose. Bed pillows were the size of accessory pillows that would come with a comforter set. Lobby smelled of body odor. Was supposed to stay a second time on the back end of a trip, but decided to cancel after this first experience. Cannot recommend."

"Nice hotel in convenient location, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I felt safe in the area, it was bustling with tourists and locals. What made the stay a 5 star was the staff - Hannah was awesome! We were on a trip to find an apartment for my son and Hannah was so accommodating and helpful - even with tips on snagging a NYC apartment! The only downside is the train runs right at the hotel but eventually it just melted into the background city noise. I would recommend...

"Solid little hotel and a great option for south Brooklyn (there aren't many). The staff is very nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding and towels were soft. These comforts go a long way when you're traveling and some high end hotels don't get that right. Easy to walk, train or rideshare to nearby Park Slope, Gowanus, downtown BK and into Manhattan. "This stay at the Lodge Red hook was a bright spot at a very frustrating time in the city. Because of the NBA Finals and the World Cup the city was way overcrowded. The Lodge was an oasis of peace and the rooms are spacious! Xavier was very helpful and knowledgeable about all of the area’s best spots. Will stay here again"
