"Check-in was excellent. Sandra at the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they surprised us with a room upgrade. The entire experience was smooth and made us feel valued from the moment we arrived."

"The amenities and size of the rooms were wonderful. The photos of the rooms were misleading. The water park is an additional fee, but it’s the main photo for the whole hotel? Bait and switch. The floors in the room and generally on the property were dirty. Elevator was gross. Beds were comfortable. The staff at the Grand Geneva were helpful, but you are not a Grand Geneva guest, you are a Holiday Inn guest and they are not connected. No Holiday Inn staff on site."

"My cottage faced a view of an SUV & a boat. My husband & I really needed a vacation. While the breakfast consisted of fresh baked goods, & the cottage was quaint, maintenance of it was so so. Housekeeping made the bed, but never replaced sheets. There were other issues, of which I made management aware of via email, when asked to write a review. For the money spent, we could've stayed at better known hotel. I really wish I could write a more favorable review, but unfortunately I can't. The view...

"First of all, I didn't pay for the Hot tub, but according to the picture you (or who ever) gave me, I paid for jacuzzi... For that price, I should get it, but no 👎 ... Condition of the facilities = himid and stale smell in the room, on the towels...etc, etc, ... Never again "

"This is a great hotel to stay at if you love to wake up to like views or sit outside at night in a calm, quiet area it was very relaxing. The staff were very nice. We did eat at the restaurant there Oak and order that was very delicious. I do recommend eating there. The only downside is I would like for the room to have a microwave so we can heat up our leftovers from the restaurant other than that everything was clean and I really enjoyed my stay. I will be coming again!"

"Had higher expectations, was looking for a resort as it was disckribed. Apppiers this is just a hotel with a sauna. Not even outdoor pool. Overall it was clean and Im happy I booked a lake wiew room with a balcony."

"It was run down a bit but had some charm. Room was clean but tub was a jacuzzi tub with holes where jets use to be. The restaurant “getaway” was excellent and had lots of charm. Deck to view lake como could use some clean up but cannot avoid birds and I guess bird poop but could be cleaned up a bit."

"Hotel was okay went for a birthday trip. Staff were nice. Had dirty sheets on bed and didn’t notice until almost time to check out. Not sure why considered 4 star hotel— more like 3 star. Did not live up to expectations. Breakfast from on site coffee spot was not edible. If I go back to Lake Geneva I will choose another hotel."
