"The room was great, the staff very friendly but what was outstanding was the food, what a surprise it was, pub food is normally quite boring in my opinion but this was anything but.
Pork belly mash and the most delicious red cabbage I've ever had and I've travelled a lot and eaten a lot in my travels, this was up there with the best. "

"The problem with this hotel are the rooms. They are clean, but our double was quite small, and the bathroom, again clean, was small, and a strange shape that included a bath and toilet on a raised step.
The breakfast was excellent.
Overall this hotel represents very poor value.."

"What a gem of a Property - absolutely perfect We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly return again.
You do need a car to be able to get out and about and explore the lovely area, we managed to get to Truro (Healeys Cider Farm)/Perranporth, Boscastle and Instow (perfect for our dogs, who enjoyed the run on the beach) and all within about an hour away and then you come back to a very comfortable property, at the end of your day to relax and unwind.
Would certainly recommend.
