"It is a unique historic hotel that appeared to me. My goodness, it had a key for the door. When was the last (great to me) time that happened? I was traveling alone and sent my wife pictures and she said "it doesn't appeal to me". On second view, it is kind of "masculine" and I liked it. "This was a sirprise gem. It's in quite a busy area, with a number of stores and restaurants close by, and near 81, but going up to the motel is like going into another world. It's a lovely pastoral scene with a view of the distant mountains, and so quiet! In the next room was an occasionally screaming toddler but I wouldn't have known if his mother hadn't told me. I couldn't hear a thing. The room itself was basic but comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again."

"This is a no pet hotel but I have a registered service dog and at check in the receptionist gave me torment over having a dog. I know by law they can ask 3 different questions it’s in my paper work but she even wanted to know my medical condition and all and then s not allowed. She was rude! Never will I stay there again. She made me feel very uncomfortable there."
