"This is a great B&B, close to the Gill's Bay ferry, and easy to find. The owners were very helpful and explained all of the room functions. The breakfast was amazing. Great place to stay the night before a ferry crossing. I had to good runs from the property that didn't require running on the main road, so it felt safe."

"We arrived late after dinner in Gino’s a nice little Italian restaurant in Stonehaven. Michelle got us acquainted and quickly checked in leaving us a nice homemade tasty chocolate treat which went great with our early morning coffee. David “Bend it like Beckham” (kidding) greeted us for breakfast leaving a plate of Scottish Pancakes that brought back fond childhood memories. Breakfast was superb. Lovel being in the country and so close to Donator Castle. Don’t miss staying here … it was just...

"Great little find. Really lovely stay and the staff were so helpful and friendly which was lovely. The property is well maintained and very clean, We had a double room with a comfortable, king sized bed and a modern bathroom with an great shower. The food was tasty, well proportioned and we ate in the restaurant for all three nights of our stay. Breakfast was good and lots of choice too. We would highly recommend The Old Mill."
