"Great value for the price and the quality of surface you get. Cannot complain. The hall way at night does looks a bit like a haunted movie due to the way the motion sensor for the light works and the bluish emergency exit lighting."

"Beautiful room and perfectly placed for attending a wedding at the Gilstrap Centre. Directions, parking, and self check in were all well described and easy to follow."

"Room was clean but very dated with many signs of wear - rust on the shower and towel heater, mould around the silicon on the sink . Old fashioned alarm clock which was so bright and unable to turn off was annonying and had to be covered with a towel. The shared areas and outside also feel dated and showed main signs of wear. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was Ok."

"Only stayed one night so didn’t use all the spa facilities which looked nice. Our room was a very long walk from the reception, this was difficult to manage with my son who is autistic and has disabilities. If I stayed again I would specify that we needed to be nearer reception. Room was ok, but small fridge in room was very noisy and had to turn it off (it was unplugged when we entered room) and the air con unit in the corner of room also made a lot of noise as the evening went on and my son...

Luke at the front desk gave a warm, genuine welcome without any 'corporate speak' that sometimes sounds like it's from a script. Room very clean with good amenities - has the feel of a company that knows how to please and takes trouble to maintain a high standard. "This hotel exceeded my expectations. When you entered, the first thing that greets you is the fresh smell. Everything was so clean. Greeted by a staff member who spoke like he was in the ritz hotel. Old fashioned customer service. Wonderful! Room was clean, even the toiletries in the bathroom were good quality. Restaurants nearby. So pleased that we found this gem!
