"The entire experience at the Whaleback Inn was like stepping into a small town romance novel. Every cabin was cozy and the owners were very welcoming and hospitable. There was a great community area and ample outdoor seating on the porch, property, and pier that gave the best views. We absolutely loved our time there and will be booking again soon!"

"I visited the area for 79.3 Ironman. As I was late to look for lodging, affordable space was slim. That’s how I came across The Cottonwood. The place is very charming. Toby makes an excellent breakfast and Holly is a wonderful welcoming host! Empire is a close drive to many attractions in the area! I would definitely stay here again!"

"Our room was spacious with a beautiful view of the water. The only issue with the room that I didn’t consider was the noise from the traffic . Otherwise everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. We were very happy with our stay and the employee that helped us accommodated us with an upgrade . We will be back! "
