Lovely hotel, beautiful views. We had booked a partial sea view room, which I would absolutely recommend, drinking coffee on the balcony with the view was glorious. The room is stylish and well sized, beds are super comfy. The pool is lovely, and the complimentary breakfast was great. We really enjoyed this hotel, and the vibe in Pismo, and we found the staff to be really attentive and caring.

I only stayed one night but everyone was very friendly and helpful. Little things like leaving bags there after checkout. The lobby and bar area are really nicely decked out, and the suite was big, with a great shower. There was also a convenient BBQ by the pool in the evening, plus a complementary beer/wine! I would stay here again.

We couldn't fault our stay. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Good location if you have a car. Lots around but due to main road not really able to walk easily to diners and shops. Have to drive into the town but parking is inexpensive. Comfortable beds and pillows and large room. Did not have any conditioner in the shower but a small issue really. Breakfast was ok but not enough fresh fruit. Would stay again.

We loved this little gem of a place! We were only there for one night on a trip down through California but OMG it was lovely… so many little additional extras they had thought of and I loved the fireplace in the room and the fire pits on the terrace overlooking the Pacific Ocean in the night.. absolutely gorgeous! Would highly recommend.

A WONDERFUL unexpected stay in Avila: we were greeted with gifts and told about the amazing free wine from 6pm-8pm. THEN free pie! THEN fresh crossaints in the morning THEN a nacho bar. The staff was soooo friendly and made us feel like the only guests there. Will recommend Avila La Fonda to anyone doing a coastal road trip! Brilliant stay!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views.

Great location, friendly staff - nothing wrong at all.

Overall good value even if it is a little expensive. Restaurant was top quality with sunset views. Shame it and the bar closed at 9pm. Room very clean but decor bit dated. Be aware there us a $10 resort fee. But you do get a free bottle of wine on check in. Overall I would happily stay here again.

Used as a stop off on Pacific Coast Highway tour. Great property, clean and spacious, plenty of free parking.
