I called from the emergency room in Taos and explained that I didn't think there was any way she could navigate the steps and it was our last night there. The young lady on duty informed me that they didn't have any ground level rooms available, but she called the owner and they moved us to a ground level suite at a sister hotel in town, no charge! "We had an amazing stay at Desert Flower Hotel! We stayed in Room 7, which included a private hot tub that was perfect for soaking in and relaxing after our adventurous days exploring Taos. One of the highlights of our stay was the homemade breakfast each morning. Everything was delicious, especially the homemade blueberry muffins. "Rooms are extra big and fully stocked. Scenery inside and outside was beautiful. The cafe inside was a little expensive with their coffee $6 for medium size. Be prepared it can get hot in the rooms and not all of them or most of them dont have air conditioning. You pay extra for that."

"Adorable motel with a clean, comfortable, and very spacious room. The decor was unique and reflected the local charm of the area. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The complimentary breakfast buffet was one of the best we've ever had—even had tamales on the morning we were there.
