Wonderful family-run hotel on a lovely Cenote. If you want all-inclusive mass tourism, this is not for you. If you want an authentic Mexican self-catering room or apartment, off the beaten track, this is perfect.

i thought it was not too far from the Airport to the Hotel . The hotel kept in contact with me . as i required shuttle service to get to the Hotel. Breakfast was great , staff where great.

Perfect for a short stay close to the airport. Convenient shuttle transfers worked perfectly with minimal wait time on arrival. Confusing instructions provided through hotels.com but clear on their website. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast included which was lovely and well serviced with takeaway coffee. Only stayed 1n stopover so did not leave hotel.

Petit Lafitt was perfect for what we wanted. We had toured Mexico City, Merida, Tulum and finally Playa Del Carmen. We were aware this area would be very different to all those I'd mentioned before so opted for somewhere that would be more homely than the larger resorts. It did not disappoint, food was freshly cooked every night rather than a buffet. You had two options and the menus changed daily for both breakfast and dinner. The beach front bar served a lovely lunch if you decided to have an...

Huge property and the cheaper Zen section is actually the nicest, at least in term of the public areas. Service was outstanding, utterly faultless and the food was gourmet level and way above what you'd expect of an all-inclusive. Great location just a 5 minute taxi ride from Playa Del Carmen. Highly recommended.

A Beautiful Natural Retreat — Just Bring Extra Pesos for Dining Our stay at Fairmont Mayakoba was truly special, mostly thanks to the property itself. The resort is built around a network of lagoons and mangroves, and it’s clear an enormous amount of care goes into keeping these green spaces pristine. Winding paths and boat canals thread through the jungle, and you constantly spot wildlife — herons, turtles, even the occasional coati — without ever leaving the grounds. It gives the whole place...

we LOVED this hotel. The staff were so friendly, the food was excellent, the bed was HUGE and so comfy, the activities were brilliant and generally my 20 year old daughter and I had the BEST time!

Superb hotel and wonderful location.

Amazing stay in Playa del Carmen, checkin was fabulous with Luis (all staff were friendly and helpful), room was spacious, modern, spotlessly clean - hotel is quite new and very tastefully decorated. Lovely rooftop pool and well equipped gym on the ground floor. No restaurant service after breakfast but we knew that and there’s a lot of food choice around. Situated just off 5th Avenue, seconds walk to shops and restaurants at the quieter end of town. We would recommend a massage at Veronica’s...

The staff here are amazing, all so friendly and made my birthday special by decorating my room and bringing me a cake. Thanks to Flor on reception, but all the staff deserve praise especially housekeeping. The room is great. The breakfast is great. The location is great, 2 mins from 5th Ave and 7/8 mins from the beach. I can't fault it! Though it is worth noting there is no bar. You are so close to several it doesn't affect anything.

Beautiful hotel my only two criticisms are when you go to the pool you are not told you have to book the beds it’s an idiotic system I have expected to see Germans running down at day break with towels but staff do it My other bug was constant tipping of people I always tip end of stay if it was good service but to be asked for a tip was just not right Management very good in listening to my complaints Overall great hotel but to be honest it’s a long way from town if you don’t have a car your...

We had a brilliant time at Ventus Ha Marina. It's nice and spacious, with three hotels in the complex and access to all of them and their facilities, so there's plenty to explore. We were given a free upgrade to a big room with a bathtub, spotlessly clean with loads of bits provided. We don't have kids ourselves but you could easily see why it's a good spot for families. The adult-only infinity pool was a real highlight, especially at sunset. Lovely chilled atmosphere throughout, we felt safe,...

Convenient hotel for the airport, the shuttle bus runs every half hour and was on time, and it took under 10 minutes to get to Terminal 4. Staff were helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
