"What a treasure, next to the Menil Collection Museum! Hyatt runs a hotel but Tte museum actually purchased the land and built this hotel which looks more like an apartment complex. The Landscaping is absolutely beautiful. All the stuff are extremely helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful and spacious. I live in the Greater Houston area but we did decided to stay here for one night and I'm so glad we did. We will definitely be back."

"This definitely a different experience than your typical hotel--it's a weird old house with antique furniture and gothic turrets. Everything was clean and well maintained though, and the staff was quite friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Essentially it consisted of complimentary access to a well-stocked kitchen. "We always love staying at the Houstonian. It is full of history, wonderful amenities, and is exceptionally well maintained and clean. We loved using the Houstonian Fitness Center and three pools. Tennis and pickleball, too! Walking path around the property is one of our favs! The Spa is so beautiful and relaxing as well. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel and the wait staff was so attentive. This location in the heart of Houston amongst the shade of trees is a hidden treasure! We will be back!"
