The included breakfast buffet was delicious with many options, fresh juice and ripe fruit. The restaurant was a little expensive, and there’s a popular coffee shop within walking distance of the resort. "This was by far our favorite property we stayed at on our CR vacation which included 5 different hotels. This hotel was peaceful, felt private and truly dedicated to Mother Earth. "This property has an incredible view of the volcano and the most amazing trails right on the property. The property is full of wildlife, and we were able to watch spider monkeys swinging from the trees from the balcony of our room, as well as watch a variety of native birds and other native creatures without going anywhere else. "We had a really great stay at Hotel Volcan Verde. It was a lovely location and cabin to stay in. Staff was helpful in getting us organized for different activities. Grounds were very quiet and the garden was fantastic! Great restaurants around and a nice balance between nature and proximity to different amenities. Would for sure recommend.
