We had a nice stay, the area is very quiet but restaurants and shops are close by. As taxis are not allowed in the castle area, be prepared to walk a bit. The place is clean and well equipped.

Fantastic apartment near Sao Jorge castle with a view of the river and the local peacocks. My husband and I stayed 3 nights and it was perfect.

La ubicación esta en un lugar muy turístico, tuvimos problemas con el check in porque llegamos temprano y el host fue muy amable y nos ayudo a resolverlo muy rápido, las instalaciones muy cómodas y bonitas, tienes una caftería a lado, instalaciones súper limpias y completas, el hoast y Elivania fueron extra amables, lo recomiendo mucho

Breakfast in a box, it was better than expected, very nice bread and juice. The room was not sutible for small kids since you can not lock the door from onside and we had a step stair right outside the door.

Nuestra estadía fue simplemente espectacular. Desde el momento en que llegamos sentimos que estábamos en un cuento de hadas. La propiedad es absolutamente hermosa, con instalaciones impecables y un ambiente mágico. Las habitaciones son amplias, elegantes, muy cómodas y estaban impecablemente limpias. Cada detalle está cuidadosamente pensado para que los huéspedes disfruten de una experiencia inolvidable. El servicio fue excepcional de principio a fin. Todos fueron amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, haciendo que nos sintiéramos realmente bienvenidos. Sin duda, ha sido el mejor hotel y la mejor estadía que hemos tenido. Lo recomendamos al 100% y esperamos regresar muy pronto. ¡Gracias por hacer nuestro viaje tan especial Hermitage St Jorge!

Mixed experience – Privacy breach and misleading location "While the physical stay was alright, there are two major things future guests should know: Privacy Issue: We explicitly opted out of cleaning (which requires an order per their manual), yet we walked in on a girl inside our room talking on the phone with zero cleaning supplies. She panicked and ran out as soon as we confronted her. With all our valuables out, it felt very sketchy. Misleading Location: They lied about how far the property is. It’s actually about 1 km further than stated, leading to a brutal walk up steep, cobblestone hills with heavy luggage in the intense Lisbon heat. Unfortunately, these incidents overshadowed the positives of the stay."

Check in exceeded my expectations, my family was tired and jet lagged and we stopped by to drop off our luggage to be stored and Bernardo allowed us to occupy the apartment early. I know that doesn’t always happen and I’m so grateful it happened to be ready. The room and beds were clean and comfortable. They whole space was bright and well furnished and every room was clean. We had a great experience here and loved waking up to the sounds of the peacocks. We took a Bolt to and from the airport which required a bit of hiking up and down the hill with our luggage and that was fine for my young family however Hermitage Castelo says it offers rides to and from the airport and I think that would be the best option. Thank you Bernardo for making our stay so special!

A very charming place to stay: clean, modern and attractive with a very comfortable bed. Loved the patio! The neighborhood is fantastic and so much fun to explore and every meal we had was delicious. The cozy breakfast/brunch place right next door was a delight!

We absolutely loved our stay in the apartment. Beautifully decorated and very modern but still charming. The brunch spot next door was the best! The area is so peaceful in the evening and watching peacocks stroll by in the morning along with sunrise over the river, so memorable! Highly recommend and we will be back!

Absolutely perfect spot in the center of the castle, and the little cafe down stairs made it all for us. So friendly people the staff, I would recommend it for everyone.

Such a sweet place! The apartment was so nicely laid out and was perfect for our family. The cafe next door was delicious too. It was so neat to be in such a historic part of Lisbon!

Wonderful stay - property was beautifully designed, maintained and kept clean. Entrance was very easy via app. Note that the property is at the top of a hill and not accessible by taxi/uber.
