Raquel at the front desk was very nice and helpful as were the two young men. Only thing was one of the bedrooms in building 20 was directly across from a very noisy bar and my cousin had trouble sleeping. Besides that, a very positive experience

The apartments were spacious and relatively comfortable and clean. However, the area is very lively and the noise was so loud that sleeping was difficult. Also, there was a door to another apartment inside the apartment we stayed in that was paper-thin and we could hear entire conversations of other guests. The listing notes that parking is available but don't assume it is included. You have to park in a public parking garage for 25 Euros per day. Further, a member of the staff has to escort you to your car to let you in and out of the parking garage. It is incredibly inconvenient. Would not stay here again.

Overall, we had a good stay, but there were some definite highs and lows. The location was fantastic and our room offered some really nice views of the city. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was a great size, and everything was kept very clean. The beds were the biggest issue for us. They had plastic mattress covers that felt like sleeping on an air mattress. I'm a camper and a very heavy sleeper, but I still had a hard time getting any sleep until we finally took the cover off on the third day. The floors are also quite creaky, so every time the people above us moved, it was loud enough to wake me up. If you stay here, I'd definitely recommend bringing earplugs for the overhead noise. On the bright side, the breakfast was lovely with a solid selection of food and drinks. It would have been a nice touch if the hotel provided tea or coffee in the room, though. Also, while the hotel is in a busy club and bar area, the windows did a great job of blocking out the street noise. It's a nice spot, just hope you don't get one of those mattress covers!

This property is in ideal location. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Our room was well appointed with room service daily. Daily breakfast was a great surprise with wonderful staff that worked hard. I would recommend this property to family and friends.

Located in the heart of Bairro Alto, the hotel is within walking distance of everything, and at the same time all public transport is just around the corner. Our apartment was clean, and it was cleaned every day. It was a very quiet place as it overlooked the backyard. The breakfast is basic, but nothing is missing — bread, butter, croissants, tomatoes, cheese, meats, fruits, cereals, American pancakes, muffins, waffles, etc. There is good espresso from a machine, brewed coffee, tea, and milk. The staff at the reception and in the breakfast restaurant were absolutely kind and helpful. Our flight was early in the morning, and they allowed us to have breakfast a few minutes before the official opening time. The neighborhood changes within hours — quiet in the morning and full of bars and people in the afternoon and late at night. You can eat, drink, dance, and have fun everywhere.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained, with a beautiful kitchen. The elevator is really helpful in this picturesque historic neighborhood with its cobblestone streets and hills. The location is excellent — close to Bairro Alto, the river, and the train station, with many cafés and restaurants nearby. The area is lively, with nearby nightclubs, so it can be a little noisy at night. But after long days exploring Lisbon, we were so tired it didn’t bother us. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were excellent. The bathroom was beautiful, with marble throughout. After a few days, the shampoo in the bathroom ran out, but we didn’t ask for more. I’m sure the staff would have happily brought some. Breakfast was lovely, and what really stood out was the kindness of the staff. Nirva, who was serving breakfast, even brought a small birthday cake for my husband — such a thoughtful gesture. Thank you, Nirva, for making that morning so special. The rooftop terrace is mentioned in the hotel description, but in the excitement of arriving it’s easy to overlook. We discovered it after asking the staff where it was. One evening we saw a beautiful sunset and rainbow from the terrace, and another morning we watched the sunrise from the kitchen window. Communication with the hotel was always easy and pleasant. We would happily stay here again.

Super close to everything bar is close by so could be nosy. It didn’t bother us at all as there are 2 full doors you can close to get quiet.

Unser Aufenthalt im Lisbon Colours Bairro Alto war sehr angenehm! Die Apartments liegen mitten im historischen Zentrum – die Lage ist einfach genial, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Die Umgebung ist lebendig und typisch für das Bairro Alto, aber dank der guten Fenster war es in der Wohnung trotzdem ruhig und erholsam. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit – man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen. Der Abfluss hat manchmal ein wenig gerochen, aber das ist in alten Gebäuden im Stadtzentrum nicht ungewöhnlich und hat unseren Aufenthalt kaum beeinträchtigt. Insgesamt ein toller Ort, um das authentische Lissabon zu erleben – wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! 🌟
