"Great hotel. Loved the room with a great view of the Gran Via, the staff and the location. Only issue we had was our room was right next to the elevator and we heard the elevator going up and down at all times. Rarely was there much time the elevator wasn’t making noise. Didn’t complain because they were nice enough to give us the room very early in the day. Other than that loved the hotel and would stay again. I would just request not being near the elevator. "

"It's an old building that they tried to remodel to modern standards, but could've done a more thorough job. For some odd reason, they thought a towel warmer inside the shower was a good idea, but they couldn't put in a shower door that closes all the way; so my towels were toasty and wet, but I was cold while trying to dry off. Also, even though it was March and the weather outside was nice and cool, the room gets hot and stuffy, but they shut off the A/C until summer, so we had to open the windows and it's super loud."
