Really nice atmosphere. Love all the Beatles memorabilia, and how the room matched that (picture of John Lennon as a kid, with backstory). Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. Rooms were spotless. Bath is always appreciated. Best hotel I've stayed in for a long time. Hotel is located in the noisy Cavern Quarter, with music going to 3am, the room was facing Matthew Street with all the bars and clubs. Despite the late night noise, which didn't really bother me as a night owl and deep sleeper, I highly recommend the hotel. Otherwise it's probably best to request a room away from the noise or bring noise cancelling earplugs. Definitely wouldn't let this put me off staying again in this top tier hotel

Super Lage für Städtetrip, nahe zu nahezu allem in Liverpool, Shops, das Dock, Beatles Museum sowieso, Frühstück war eine Enttäuschung, wenig Auswahl, Kaffee dünn, nur Toastbrot - ich würde das Frühstück nicht nochmal dazubuchen, Atmosphäre war top, schönes Hotel, man fühlte sich durchaus wohl, Zimmer war ok, nicht allzu groß, aber sehr ruhig, super dafür war die Zwischentüre zum Fahrstuhl, die für Ruhe sorgte, Waschbecken im Bad sehr klein, Dusche gut, es war alles recht sauber, das Hotel wohl ideal für eine oder zwei Nächte, wir waren 4, wären in unserem Fall mit einem anderen Hotel wahrscheinlich besser bedient gewesen, aber es war trozdem gute Erfahrung, zufrieden

Staff were very pleasant. The classic double room was decent, no frills, but did the job. Downside is we stayed on Saturday evening and had the worst nights sleep in any hotel I have ever stayed in. The noise coming from by the Cavern Club and outside the hotel was unbearable - extremely loud drumming until 2am. I called front desk who advised this is normal and what you should expect from city centre hotels. From experience, I appreciate you may encounter some noise from city centre but this was not typical city centre noise, this was like being in a nightclub that you couldn’t leave! The rooms/windows do not have sufficient sound proofing given this level of noise. It is a shame really because the hotel itself is fine but based on the noise and the lack of care by the hotel to address it, I would not stay here again.

Our stay at The Hard Days Night Hotel was perfect. I had initially expected it to be much more expensive than other hotels, given its Beatles association, but it was quite reasonable. The location couldn’t have been more ideal, it is in the heart of the city and was walkable to everything we needed.

the staff and concierge here are WONDERFUL. Experts in the local music scene and so so hospitable. The location is superb. The breakfast was excellent. All in all a great place to stay in Liverpool

3/5 as the bathroom wasn’t very clean and during our stay the heating and air conditioning wasn’t working, however the staff did provide a heater with the room. It also said online the hotel bar was open until 1am but we went at 11pm on Saturday and it was closed, we were redirected to another bar but they didn’t have drinks behind the bar and the staff member had to go back and forth to the closed bar to get drinks.. I cannot fault the staff members as they were all brilliant! But the service from the hotel and cleanliness of the room could be improved.. we also found our room particularly noisy compared to previous stays We have stayed here before and had a 5/5 experience last time, and seems like the hotel had a very busy weekend with a wedding and valentines weekend so hopefully a one off and wouldn’t stop us from staying again The hotel is in a super convenient location and well presented throughout with lovely and helpful staff.

Got married at this hotel 10 years ago so wanted to reminisce with the wife. Few subtle changes but very much remained the same charisma that made us want it as our wedding venue. Grand entrance, very clean and well presented. Reception was very tidy and manned by 2 very helpful women who gave us the good news of room upgrade and bad news they were having heating issues and think that the room is affected. Discussion with staff provided friendly reception and felt like they were genuinely interested as was talking about the hotel 10 years ago and the changes. Up to the room and very grand room with balcony with nice tidy room and large format tv, comfy seat and nice balcony with views of the city.

I was not impressed with the housekeeping service given by this hotel. I came for a special birthday celebration from the USA. At check-in I was not informed about the strict housekeeping policies. I was just expected to read the signs about it after a long day of traveling, or read the door signs in the room, without being told to. I appreciate the work they do for the environment, but I had to ask twice to have my hair conditioner filled in the bathroom. I was spoken to rudely by the front desk for asking for basics like toilet paper and getting my trashed removed (which contained food from the night before) because I didn’t have a sign on my door very early in the morning, even though the sign hung on the door while I was out ALL DAY. I was charged a “city tax” without being told. It was only explained to me when I asked what the charge was because my room had been fully paid months before. When I first asked about transportation to Manchester airport, the only suggestion was to take a £100 taxi, instead of mentioning at £10 pound train option. Some of the staff were helpful, but definitely some were not. While the hotel itself is lovely, I will not stay here again.
