Room clean, plenty of hot water and towels changed daily. Reception were very helpful. Hotel was central to all the attractions.

Very basic accommodation but did exactly what was required & ideal for a weekend trip with friends. Good location in the heart of the city.

Handy town centre location
The hotel was well located for a dinner I was attending but unfortunately it was also well located for several late night pubs. It was very noisy until the middle of the night with a bass beat pounding out across the road until about 3pm. During the week it might be much quieter so I wouldn’t rule it out then - but not on Friday or Saturday. The facilities are clean and comfortable enough though.

Good price and convenient
I enjoyed staying in the hotel, good location and very convenient. The price is reasonable. My luggages were kept there without charge before checking in as I arrived early.

Quick Liverpool Overnight Stay
My daughter and I were planning a trip for the Liverpool University open day being held on Saturday, so we decided to come up from London on the Friday and stay over. We booked Hotel 46 because of the location and the reasonable price. We were arriving fairly late on Friday and were out early on Saturday, so we were booking just a room for the night. The staff were welcoming. We had 2 stages of security before reaching our room (door entry system), which was good. Everything was clean, kettle with teas, coffees, etc were provided, along with an iron/ironing board. Also TV with a very clear picture/Freeview, and Wi-fi available. It is situated approx. 5 mins walk from the main Town Centre and 10-15 mins walk from the University, so a very good location. Liverpool is a 'happening' city, so you have to expect noise, music, etc from surrounding area, but it is not overpowering. I would recommend Hotel 46. Its not all 'bells and whistles' but good value for a 1-2 night stay. Great location! Would definitely return....hopefully my daughter gets a place at Uni!!! SL

Basic hotel but clean and tidy. Great location very close to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. Everywhere walkable. The staff were excellent, very friendly.

Hotell under oppussing så ingen varme på rommet og med +10 ute var det +10 inne og så kaldt der. Wifi underdimensjonert og ustabilt. Tv ustabil, parabol med varierende signal.

This is so noisy that I can't fall in sleep at the whole night! As there are many bar and pub nearby, also many seagull was screaming at the morning....OMG ><

The location is probably why you find this "not hotel". The location includes a very noisy pub just in front of all windows of this place. Not only people making noise, loud music as well. If you are looking for a good bight sleep, forget it. The shower was very good. Staff was bad and it is made to have as little interaction as possible.

Fantastic hotel
Absolutely fabulous hotel! Stayed with 3 friends for a friends birthday and just couldn't fault it, the bathroom was spacious and so was the room itself, very clean and right near the shops and the nightlife being 10minute walk away. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and the free wifi is a bonus... Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Liverpool

Não é ao certo um hotel, estaria mais para uma casa (apartamento) com várias suítes, porém, excelente custo benefício para três pessoas no mesmo quarto com suas camas de solteiro individuais. Aquecedor, televisão e banheiro com água muito boa. O bairro é sensacional, muito perto no Liverpool One (shopping e feira de final de semana) e vários pubs no mesmo quarteirão

I doing checking around 16pm and i leave the room day later 10 am , i think the hotel need count 12h for the Room .. We dont sleep many hours because we go out for dinner and visit the cavern one night in Liverpool and get up 8 pm to have a shower and leave the room at 10 am .. Never mind ..!! And is not anybody in the reception during the night ..

Hotellet var vanskelig å finne - taxisjåføren hadde aldri hørt om hotellet, og det var ikke noe lett synlig skilt. Da vi endelig fant det, var det kun en inngangsdør m/ringeklokke. Hotellet var helt i oppstartsfasen - alt var under oppussing! Ingen resepsjon - kun en disk satt opp, og ingen frokost/matservering. Rommet var ferdig pent pusset opp og rent, men det var også alt. Kan bli et fint hotell når alt er ferdig, men enda mye som gjenstår. Ligger veldig fint til helt i begynnelsen av gågata i Liverpool

Great location, nice people, strong wifi but road outside and bars are a little noisy til Midnight and again from 6ish. But you'll struggle to find many other places around here with such competitive prices.

Perfect for a short stay
I stayed in the Britannia Rooms with my friend as we were in Liverpool to see a band. The guy that greeted us was lovely and carried our bags to the room. The room was really clean, quite small, but we didn't need any more room. The bathroom was very clean, this is something I am usually quite picking on but I couldn't complain at all. The location is perfect, not far from shops and bars and if you don't want to walk it only cost £4 in a taxi.

We had a good stay at the hotel. The facilities are very basic - but ok considering to the price. Check out is early 10 o clock.

Lovely but a bit noisy at night
Lovely hotel with great customer service and a location very near the subway. The rooms are perfectly suitable. The only caveat, and it is a big one, is there's a bar maybe 10 feet from the hotel that plays live music quite loudly until as late as 2am on weekends. It is substantial and hard to ignore. If you intend to simply use this hotel as a place to sleep and intend to do so after 2, this place is great. If not, you may find the experience a bit tough. Bring ear plugs!

Ideally Situated - room prices reasonable. The hotel is undergoing some refurbishment and if you are disabled the stairs could be a problem. There is no bar or catering but there are plenty of places in the immediate vicinity. I would definitely stay here again. First impressions are that it is a rundown place but once you enter the building you see the amount of work that has been carried out and is ongoing you will change your mind. Well worth a visit/stay
