"I last went to this hotel 20 years ago. I was disappointed this trip. The restaurant couldn’t accommodate us for dinner. We queued for breakfast which was fine when it arrived. The staff were inefficient and I thought it was very expensive for the service received."

"Having parking was a huge benefit, the high street does get busy so knowing it wasn't going to be an issue is great.
The breakfast was lovely, nice amount of choice and the full cooked breakfast was huge!
We didn't get a chance to have a coffee in the cafe but the homemade cakes and biscuits looked delicious.
Check in and check out was smooth and quick.
We were in room 86 and the windowsill needs a bit of maintenance and the room could do with a freshen up but the room was clean and the bed...

"This hotel has potential but misses the mark. Rooms are tired and in need of some updating. Bathroom was dirty when we arrived and paint was peeling around all the windowsills. Room smelled stale and a little bit like cigarettes.
The staff were excellent. Very friendly and attentive and came to my room immediately to clean the bathroom when I mentioned it was dirty. Every staff member from front desk to the restaurant were very helpful and lovely to converse with.

"It’s not that close to the airport even though it’s physically close to the airport. It’s a 25 pound cab ride even though it’s only about 4 miles. Property is old and fine but nothing special.
It’s a bit tired."

"Stayed here for 1 night on the way home from a trip to the outer Hebrides. Check in was quick. We had a nice room on the first floor but decor was a bit dated. The room was clean and bed was comfortable though. I used the pool - very nice sized pool but it was unbelievably hot in the swimming pool area. Staff were helpful & friendly. I would deffo return."
