"The room was very comfortable, clean and had wonderful views of the mountains. The bed was lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast was just superb. Although quite a treck around narrow winding lanes to get there...it was definitely worth it. Lovely family-run bed and breakfast...I would highly recommend it. "This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back."

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "
