"The facility was nice, and well kept. The phone (concierge staff) was promptly responsive and knowledgeable. They assisted us navigate the smart TV (which was uber complex). They helped get us housekeeping, one day (which isn't a daily thing there) but when we needed it, fresh towels and bed sheets, they promptly respond; the Zen staff was friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this place for all who would be in the neighborhood."

"This was our second stay at Pali House Santa Barbara. It’s our favorite place to stay! I would have given this most recent stay 5 stars except we were not told there was a wedding reception happening the one night we were there which included closing the entire patio area. There was quite a bit of noise/music but I will give the hotel credit for ensuring the music went off at 10:00pm. Other than that, we had an amazing time! Will stay again."

"This is a really nicely updated motel turned inn. The single standard rooms are very small but they do a great job making the bathroom large enough for when you move from the living area to the bath. The furniture and accessories are all nice. We only found a couple housekeeping misses when we checked in with some hair on the white bedding and some spilled mexican food on the swivel chair but I cleaned it up right away and it was easily forgotten. The girls at the front desk were very nice...

"Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating for early check-in and late check-out. The room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed, down to the way the towels were folded. The property was lush with tall palms, banana plants and myriad greenery which created a calming environment. The self serve breakfast was a pleasant surprise. A hot tub was a wonderful amenity for an evening soak after a full day of walking."

"I booked five rooms at the Avania Inn of Santa Barbara for my family for my graduation, and the experience was terrible. One of the rooms I booked showed multiple beds online three beds and I paid $540 for one night. But when I arrived, they gave me two queen beds and a sofa bed instead. "Mystery stains on bed sheets and towels. Super cute retro decor. Small rooms. Even smaller shower. Speaking of the shower, whenever it was being used it had a strong egg smell. The person I was staying with said it could be sulfur… so there’s that. Extremely close to the beach! Short drive to Santa Barbara Bowl. Really good food options near by. Definitely check out the taco truck next to the little market store. For the price I payed ($184), I don’t think I’ll stay here again but it was overall...
