"I was apprehensive about staying in a ‘motel’ but this place was fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable, the location was amazing, and the staff were phenomenal. If you want to stay close to the beach in SB, this is the place to be. It’s an adorable property less than a block from the ocean. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. They offer breakfast and bike rentals included with the room rate."

"Monday morning at 6:40 a.m. they started with trash pickup outside and landscaping which was irritating that early in the morning. The check-in instructions should have noted that there is not a person to check you in and they did not give us our hotel room on the instructions."

"My daughter and I stayed at the Avania Inn for 1 night due to college tours. The location is excellent! We walked to West Beach and the pier, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Our room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast is available, although we were told that there was none lol. "Staff was really nice, parking is a bit of a rip off as there would be free street parking available so I think they should inform you about it. Towel was only available for payment. Restrooms were pretty dirty."

"The location of The Drift is perfect. Everything is very walkable make it super convenient. One item to note, the rooms are VERY SMALL. Well decorated but unless you are getting a larger room they really aren't meant for 2 people. I will say the staff are AMAZING, from great communication prior to going and during the stay, everyone was great!! Definitely would recommend this hotel as it wasn't a bad stay, just was thrown off by the room size for the price."
