"Everything was wonderful. The rooms are small but very clean. The owner/manager (?) was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Our only complaint was the lack of heat. There is a central thermostat that only comes on at 5:00 p.m. It still felt cold."

"If we could rate Kirkton bay higher we would! It is a perfect destination to have your own private view of the isle of Skye. The village is a bit off the main track but a beautiful drive over the pass. Quiet and peaceful. The accommodations are spotless with everything you could need. The breakfast was also wonderful! "Do not stay here! We had a 12 day trip starting in Edinburgh and running the coastline all the way around. We stayed in a different hotel every night and this had to be the worst one. The fact we were originally booked for two nights and cancelled the second and moved onto a different hotel last minute because this place was so atrocious. "The hostel was clean and comfortable. Room and bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. The view from the panoramic lounge was amazing and it was well stocked with board games and toys for the children to play with.
