"Perfect location for access to La Rambla, the Gothic quarter and central Barcelona. Hotel smelt wonderful every time we stepped inside and was great to be welcomed with bottled water at check-in. Staff were friendly and we were able to check our bags in early, so we could start sightseeing straight away. Clean room, large bathroom/shower & a very comfortable bed. We were so close to local restaurants & cafes we didn't try the breakfast. There was a vegetarian place, 'Honest Greens', right on the corner which was a great place to start the day. The reception area was full of comfortable seating and there was a well-stocked bar for after dinner drinks."

"Reception staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The room seems dated & there was a constant sound coming from the electric panel that was a bit unpleasant . Coffee shop by reception was great too "

"Avenida Palace Barcelona is a beautiful, well-located hotel, and overall we truly enjoyed our stay. We chose this property—and were willing to pay a premium—to experience the “Beatles Suite,” given its unique historical connection to The Beatles and their 1965 visit to Barcelona. While the suite is generously sized, it ultimately fell short of expectations, particularly considering the added cost. The Beatles theme is a wonderful concept; however, the execution feels underwhelming and lacks the sophistication one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The design appears somewhat amateur and does not reflect the elegance and refinement so beautifully showcased in the hotel’s lobby and common areas. As someone with a background in design, this felt like a missed opportunity. With more thoughtful curation, higher-end furnishings, and a more cohesive aesthetic, the space could become a truly immersive and luxurious experience worthy of both its historical significance and premium price point. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. However, in its current condition, the Beatles Suite does not justify the additional expense, and we would not book it again unless improvements are made. The staff, however, were wonderful and deserve special recognition."

"Staff are superb, we felt right at home every time we walked through the doors. The rooms are kept at a high standard but be prepared for what you pay for. Rooms are definitely smaller than what you’re used to, but you can always upgrade. Also, expect an extra tourism fee per night. "
