Top North London Hotel Reviews

The Tower Hotel, by Thistle
10/10 Excellent
"Rooms are clean with a view of Tower Bridge. Lots of food options nearby and you don't need to walk far for the nearest Tesco. Staff are outstanding. During my stay where the whole building is out of AC the staff provided us with portable Ac in the room. Breakfast is great and there's a lot of options everyday. Would stay again."

Strand Palace Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed in a superior single. It was a great deal and reasonable size for the area. It wasn’t huge but it was definitely reasonable considering the area. The only negative was the there aren’t enough elevators for the size of the property and they aren’t air conditioned. So you wait a long time and then get crammed into a hot space with tons of people while it slowly makes its way up/down. But otherwise I loved it and would stay here again! Also if you decline housekeeping, they give you a certificate for £7 pounds off breakfast at one of their restaurants. I declined housekeeping twice and they let me use both certificates for the same meal, so I got their buffet breakfast (18-20 pounds) for only £6 on my final morning."

St. James' Court, A Taj Hotel, London
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is really lovely. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. I loved the Masala chai, the dosas and the buffet. All the staff (checkin/restaurant, housekeeping, concierge) are all pleasant, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed my stay. The only comment I have is that my room (executive room) while comfortable was very very plain and boring. The lack of decor was obvious and any expenses associated with adding some color or touch of uniqueness (flowers, vibrant Indian fabric cushions, bed coverlets, etc) would be minimal and would have been nice and made the stay more enjoyable as this is a Taj hotel. The Instagram reels feature rooms that are the renovated rooms. These older rooms pale by comparison. Seeing the hotel’s feeds on Facebook and Instagram daily of the rooms featured made me feel a bit less than."

Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington
8/10 Good
"It is a large 1970s conference type hotel, but with good staff, food options and lifts. Best to stay away from the railway tracks. It is convenient for Olympia."

Mason & Fifth - Westbourne Park
10/10 Excellent
"We really loved this place. Being a combination hotel and condo/work space rental it had a neighborhood feel, lots of room downstairs to hang outside your room, and was in a more low key area of town. The room was quite simple and felt like it could still use a few touches - like a chair or desk, and bedside table that were bigger than a place to put a cell phone, but it was clean and comfortable. We used the pool and steam room, and spent time by the riverside patio or other hidden areas that provide space to work or have a bite to eat. It felt safe and welcoming - in an area that is seeing a revival. If you go- spend time exploring the place and the local areas. Would be fantastic spot for a working trip."
