"We enjoyed our two nights at the Mitre House hotel. It was such a good location, really about an 8 minute walk from Paddington Station. Restaurants are close by, very walkable or connect with the Hop On Hop Off bus just three blocks away, staff were very helpful, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, excellent servers. Coffee and hot tea were available at the small bar anytime. We enjoyed visiting with other guests in the “living room” area. One gentleman shared his musical talent with us by playing beautifully on the piano one evening. Great time!"

"Complimentary upgrade to larger room, was lovely as there were 3 of us. Although the room was quite a walk from the lift it was worth it as very quiet! Breakfast had a very good selection to suit all tastes & dietary needs. Bar served good drinks & food too"

"Cannot adjust room temp our room was so hot, they brought us a fan which helped, Did not have a coffee maker as advertised they said they didn't have enough for all the rooms, elevators where terrible so packed and took forever, and the stairwell smelled aweful"

"Room was nice and clean/ big, shower was good .. bed was a little hard but slept well . It was just the little things that was missing like hand towels (only one dressing grown) no bin liner and no sugar for tea and coffee so just the little things were missing. Little fridge was a nice surprise."
