"We arrived around 4:30, the carpark was busy and the restaurant really busy - wasn’t an issue for us as we were going out. The reception is away from the hustle and bustle of the bar/ restaurant which was good. The room was big enough, but the beds are really small. My husband had to go and ask for another room (on his own) as the double was bearly wide enough for both of us, let alone long enough. … so if you are over 5’8 you will struggle. "Very peaceful location and good price"

"A decent walk away from the town centre, this was ideal for a quick overnight stay. Hotel very dated and at night we got back to find security trying to keep trouble makers out the car park. However, we got a random unexpected upgrade into a suite which was exciting. Loved the double spa bath. Not bad for what we paid."

"Room was excellent very comfy everything you need in it love the dove toiletries Breakfast lovely hot and plentiful good choice staff great too very attentive. Even made us a pizza late at night when we were hungry. Parking chargeable. Only downside of this hotel was and believe it or not square toilet seats throughout hotel very uncomfortable to sit on. Definitely we would stay again."

"Fantastic stay. Lovely room. Free parking and £10 for our dog to stay ( 2 night stay) food was lovely and we could take our dog with us. The staff were fab made a fuss over our dog and nothing was too much trouble for us or her. Opposite, there is a field that you can take your dog for a walk. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back. "
