"We booked the Silver Lake Pool and Inn for a one-night stay to celebrate a birthday. Four of us stayed in the the queen double room and we all absolutely loved it! The view of the hills and the neighborhood were gorgeous. We loved the furniture and design (it felt like a hip and groovy house) and the beds were comfy. "The room was clean, the breakfast was decent. Other than the crazy amount of homeless people around (it is DT LA) it was a good place to stay. Despite the homeless people, we would stay again."

I had read another review that there was only one shared thermostat in the house, so we found it on the fourth floor and it was set to air conditioner at 57° no problem, we turned the heat on to 66. "This place is an alright stay.We only stayed in town 1 night to attend a Dodgers game. The rooms are spacious and clean.The surrounding area of the hotel is a little crusty. Parking is definitely compacted.Get there early if you want to get a parking.If not, you have to park on the street, which is sus."

"While it’s cool that there is no front desk, it causes more issues than it does good. I tried to get ahold of the property and got no response. The place itself was very old and creaky, but it gets the job done. I walked in around 4 to get to my room and someone was still in there cleaning until 4:15-4:20ish. The neighborhood it is in is very sketchy. I only stayed for one night so it was good for what I needed, but I don’t know if I would go back."
