"None of the washers or dryers worked. The wash machines were broken and didn't drain the water in the spin cycles. In the soap dispensers the powder soap was crystalized in the drain; therefore not allowing the soap to rinse through. Machine # 1 had trickles of h2o and washer # 2 the same. "our stay was overall okay. i’m not a very picky person, firstly. i don’t have to stay at the nicest place to enjoy myself. i can overlook a lot of things. but not when the “things” start stacking up.
i’ll start with the positives. the hotel is steps from the beach, view is amazing, a/c in our room was icy cold, a nice surprise was that our room had a full sized fridge and kitchen sink. the staff were all very friendly, kind, and helpful.
negatives though, outweighed the positives...

"Room was clean, staff was helpful and kind. Not that it weighed heavily on the trip we had hoped to had breakfast but felt it was overpriced. We inquired at check in did they offer breakfast, they said yes. Assumed it was free, it was not. Crackle Barrel and Starbucks was just 1/2 mile away. Overall it may not have saved much going to the other establishments but felt the familiarity gave them some weight. It was not a deal breaker we will stay at the Hilton Garden again."

"Got there Saturday for a weeks vacation. First night was terrible due to fatigue with the residents upstairs kids running wild to 2am &,wouldn’t answer the phone when the front desk called. Sunday was exhausting. Smelled refer being smoked in and around during the week. However all in all once the weekenders left it was a pleasant stay. Went to check out the indoor pool and the chemical smell would burn your eyes. Walked right back out. My advice is arrive Sunday and leave Friday morning....

"The room itself was fine. But the bathroom with the toilet and shower was awful! Peeling paint and loose moulding which indicated prior water damage. The frame & track for the shower door was mending with what looked like packing tape. The bathroom smelled strongly of bleach and it looked like there was mold growing behind the door. We left the door closed with the fan running all night to reduce the exposure!"
