"Our 2-bedroom apartment although basic was spacious and clean. There was only one bathroom which was less than ideal for four of us though. The location was great - very central and handy for walking to The Rocks, Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, Sydney Tower, Botanic gardens etc. We found the staff at the York to be very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out were very efficent. Disappointingly the sauna did not work for the 3 days we stayed."

"Check in was fast and efficient. 4 elevators A B C D, dependent on your floor, easy tap room card telling you which elevator to use. Clean room. Only used kitchen for coffee and tea, but it was fully functional and room had washing machine and dryer. Short walk from North Sydney Rail Station and 500mtrs from Victoria Cross Light Rail. Greenwood Plaza just opposite railway station."

"Wonderful staff. Some of the furniture is a little worn in the lobby cafe but looking past that, everything was clean and serviced. The bed was fantastic. The hotel is historically grand and modern in a well throughout way, however the real asset is the staff. From the driveway to the room, 6 stars"
