"Lovely room, comfortable bed and pillows, very effective air conditioning. Breakfast included full english + continental buffet AND made-to-order dishes which was really tasty and generous. Staff were lovely. It's located a bit away from the harbour center and with construction it was more of a walk than expected but this didn't diminish the quality of the stay."

8/10 Good
"The staff are super friendly, kind and helpful. Parking is a bit tough, you have to pay £9 per day and it's only for a small section around the hotel, however we were always able to find a spot. We stayed in the cozy room, decent size but no mini fridge in the room and no AC (they do provide each room with a fan) which made it really tough in August. On site bar and restaurant and right at the stairs to access Mermaid beach. However, a bit far from the Harbour Arm (25 min walk). Loved that it's dog friendly."

"This hotel is lovely! It is in a beautiful location, short walking distance to anything you may need, and the friendliest staff! The only inconvenience is an extremely slow and tiny elevator/lift. But it really is nearly the perfect place to stay. Rooms are comfy, great views, & lovely staff."

OYO Eagle House Hotel, St Leonards Hastings

8/10 Good
"On the whole our stay was a very pleasant experience. Our room was light airy and cool in the heatwave. The beds clean and comfortable. Decent shower/ bath. Not sure if the small towel in the bathroom was a hand towel or bathmat. The only disappointment was the very basic breakfast, just flake or some round cereal. No muesli, yoghurt, and NO fruit. Bananas are the cheapest fruit going. The cooked breakfast, made to order was good . Nice to have use of the large garden. Few minutes walk to the sea with pasing buses to take you back up the hill "
